Innovation

By creating an inquiry-based learning project on gardening we will generate cross-curricular activities, tasks and educational materials for secondary school aged students. The areas of education that will be covered are: mathematics (in particular, geometry and statistics), social sciences (interviewing subjects, questionnaires, comparisons of partner country’s results), biology (structure and developmental stages of plants) and chemistry (soil, water, air samples), meteorology, geography (economic geography and physical geography), cultural studies/history (culinary arts, traditional crafts) and art/literature (symbolism of plants in literature, painting, sculpture, architecture), Information Communication Technology (e-Twinning, web site design, web conferencing).
